Susan Dufresne: A Beacon of Dedication and Growth

At Autism Allies Inc., we're proud to spotlight the incredible journey and contributions of Susan Dufresne, our esteemed Director of Clinical Services. Her story, featured in the Worcester Business Journal, is not just a testament to her dedication but also a beacon of hope and inspiration in the field of autism care.

Early Inspirations and A Lifelong Commitment

Susan's journey began in her childhood, growing up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Influenced by her parents' ethos of hard work and helping others, she embarked on a path that would define her life's work. Her early experiences, including caring for a neighbor with cerebral palsy, ignited a passion for working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities.

A Career Spanning Five Decades

With over 50 years in the field, Susan's career has been marked by compassion, patience, and an unwavering work ethic. Joining Autism Allies Inc. at its inception, she has been instrumental in using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to help clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her efforts have been pivotal in enhancing their independence and quality of life.

The Heart of Autism Allies Inc.

Under Susan's leadership, our clinical services have flourished. Despite her administrative responsibilities, she remains deeply involved with our clients. This hands-on approach reflects her belief in direct contact and work with children, ensuring each one receives personalized and effective care.

Beyond the Clinic: A Life of Care and Growth

Susan's dedication extends beyond her professional life. Her commitment to caring for rescue animals and her garden at home mirrors her professional ethos - nurturing and fostering growth. This holistic approach to life and work is what makes her an invaluable part of our team.

Looking Forward with Hope

Susan's journey is a powerful reminder of the impact one individual can have in the lives of many. As we at Autism Allies Inc. continue our mission, we are inspired by her dedication and look forward to advancing our services, driven by the same passion and commitment she embodies.
