Laurie Bonavita joined Autism Allies in January 2018 to spearhead the organization’s expansion in western Massachusetts. Ms. Bonavita has experience working in early intervention as a consultant in the public-school system and has worked in residential settings with adults with developmental disabilities. She has developed and supervised ABA programs, and enjoys supervising BCBA® candidates.
In addition to working at Autism Allies, Laurie is also an instructor and ABA supervisor at Bay Path University’s School of Education, Human & Health Sciences. Her academic focus includes functional assessment and analysis, and using applied research in organizational management. She is currently working on research which looks at applying a behavioral coaching package to skill mastery in sports such as golf and baseball.
